Celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Apollo missions by learning about Snoopy’s journey to the Moon and beyond. Hear about Snoopy’s connection to NASA’s Apollo mission and the aircraft carrier USS Hornet with Bill Miklos of the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum, and graphic novelist Brian Fies. Join engineer, author, futurist, and technological historian Dr. Jack Bacon to learn about his career with NASA, his work as a lead systems integrator on the International Space Station, and his own Silver Snoopy Award. Also, enjoy an up-close look at space artifacts with A Traveling Space Exhibit and hands-on activities.
