SF Bay Brazilian Day & Lavagem Festival

Celebrate Brazilian Independence Day with a FREE online festival featuring an exciting program of live music and dance performances and a Lavagem (blessing) live form Santo Amaro Bahia.

Festival program:
11am-12pm free pop up dance classes
Music featuring Oakland Samba Review, Dona Francisca, Sambada and special performance by composer Roberto Mendes live from Santo Amaro Bahia.
Dance performances Marcelo Chocolate & Kellyn Rosa (Rio), Marcela Rabelo & Pitoco de Aaira (Pernambuco), Nadia Qabazard.

Special Lavagem ceremony and blessing with Baba Pote & Nicinha Raizes de Santo Amaro live from Santo Amaro Bahia 2-3pm

Free & open to the public (VIP Zoom passes available for purchase)
