Many open-admission animal shelters in the country – like SFACC - have been inundated with guinea pigs for over a year now. SFACC currently has over 30, and more could arrive at any time. The San Francisco SPCA generously agreed to host a special adoption day to help more pigs find their forever homes. SFACC staff, volunteers, and guinea pigs will journey over to the SF SPCA for a special adoption day (Pig-A-Palooza). The guinea pig adoption fee is $10.
