2 Sessions at 10am & 11:15am

At Local Artist Spotlight, children explore a specific artistic technique through a project inspired by a Bay Area artist. This month, join us for photo collaging with Kija Lucas!

Children will use a polaroid camera, test out lighting, and experiment with real photography equipment to conduct a photo shoot on our mini photography set. They’ll use everyday objects they could find in their backpack to make a unique photo collage, and document their final product to create a lasting photo memory.

This event is for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. Siblings are welcome.

This event is free for Bay Area Discovery Museum members and included in the regular price of admission. Admission to the museum can be purchased at the door or online. 

Registration is required to attend Local Artist Spotlight. If there are cancellations or no-shows, we will allow non-registrants to sign up in person, 5 minutes before the start time.
