Join us in the brand-new planetarium and experience a show on constellations and the Jewish calendar, followed by a lecture by Dr. Claire Max, emeritus Professor and Director of the University of California Observatories. She will describe exciting new discoveries about planets around other stars and ask how knowledge of worlds beyond our solar system affects our thoughts and religious beliefs.
Admission is free for the whole family, though registration is required for the planetarium show and lecture. During the talk, the museum is open, and science educators will lead tabletop activities on sky science. At 5:30 pm, guests are invited to stargaze on the plaza with experts and telescopes, weather permitting.
