The 44th Mill Valley Film Festival is delighted to announce the return of in-person screenings at the CineArts Sequoia in Mill Valley and Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael this October. We will also continue to offer a virtual program to local and national audiences through the CAFILM Streaming Room, available online and on Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV apps.
The festival is returning with its signature curation of award-winning films, filmmaker conversations, industry panels, and MVFF Education screenings alongside our initiatives: Active Cinema, a forum for issue-driven films; Mind the Gap, a platform for inclusion and equity in the film industry; and ¡Viva El Cine!, a showcase of Latin American and Spanish-language films.
It is thanks to the unwavering and generous support from our community that MVFF, which has been part of our cultural fabric for over four decades, can continue to be a place for all of us to come together around our shared passion for film.
We are committed to delivering an inclusive and accessible festival with audience safety a top priority, and cannot wait to welcome you back!
We look forward to sharing more news as plans are confirmed in the coming months.
