The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) and Engaging Math Circles invite you to an ancient math journey! We will travel back in time to ancient civilizations and uncover the secrets of their number systems. From the sands of Egypt to the grandeur of Rome, the mystic lands of the Maya, the wisdom of India, and the ingenuity of China, we will discover how ancient people wrote numbers and how our modern numeral system came to be. Are you ready to unlock the mysteries of numbers?

This interactive event includes team-building exercises and mind-bending puzzles intended for grades 1- 6 participating with their guardians/parents.

Groups who pre-register should arrive within 30 minutes of the Quest's start time. After 30 minutes, or at the organizer's discretion, walk-ins will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Guests will not be admitted past 1:30pm (30 minutes before end time).
