Come spend the morning learning the basics of saltwater. A limited number of poles will be available on a first come, first-served basis. A valid California fishing license is required when fishing from the shore, not from the pier.

Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. Remember to bring a fishing pole and a lunch. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Park entrance fee is waived for participants.

Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov, or other extreme weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
