It’s the spookiest time of year, when bats, owls, and other creatures of the night take on a different light. But are they really that scary? Join this special Halloween-themed Junior Rangers program to discover how our nocturnal residents—especially ones with wings—aren’t scary at all, but actually have awesome super powers which help them navigate the night in amazing and almost magical ways. Using your eyes, ears, and other senses, you’ll discover just how remarkable these animals are. Dress in layers for changeable weather. Bring water, snacks, and smiles.
Note: Due to a triathlon event, a section of North San Pedro Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please access the Back Ranch Meadows Campground from the west side, coming from the Marin Civic Center.
