San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park will host a free Junior Ranger Day event on Saturday, April 21, 2018, between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM, geared toward children ages 5-12 and their families. Admission fees to board our historic ships will be waived on this day for all visitors.
Junior Ranger Day is a nationwide event that gives young visitors a chance to explore their national parks and learn skills from park rangers and volunteers. At San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, kids and families are welcome to come down to Hyde Street Pier and earn a Junior Ranger badge by participating in special activities including a beach cleanup, rope spinning, sea chantey sing along, arts and crafts, puppet show, and maritime demonstrations.
Saturday, April 21st is a free admission day in all national parks! National Park Week will begin on Saturday, 4/21/18 and will run through Sunday 4/29/18.
