Kids love hands-on learning experiences, and who doesn't love a petting zoo? On May 18, the Marin County Department of Public Works will host one, but without animals. Instead, there'll be tractors, backhoes, fire trucks, sheriff cruisers, construction machinery and heavy equipment!

The family-friendly fair will feature presentations from civil engineers and environmental scientists, covering various topics from sea level rise planning to recycling. For the nuts & bolts side of the equation, there will be demonstrations from staff on road construction, traffic systems, emergency services, and much more!

We'll also have hands-on activities, games, face painting, balloons, music, and prizes for you to enjoy. Everyone is welcome, this will be a fun event for all ages!
