Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration with Children’s Day Hands-On Windsock Making and DJ Teao Sense.

May 5th is celebrated as Children’s Day in Japan and South Korea. Creating windsocks, or koinobori flags, is one way people in Japan celebrate the holiday. Join us at OMCA to create your own windsock and celebrate the youth in your community. Teao Sense is a visionary DJ / Multi-instumentalist / Producer with a passion for music as a tool for social change and raising positive vibrations.

Program Schedule: 

5–8 pm – Off the Grid Service (10th Street), windsock making (Garden), Teao Sense (Amphitheater stage)
