The San Domenico Upper School Musical is an annual event looked forward to each year with great anticipation. During the pandemic, in-person theater productions were impossible and Broadway show scripts were not available for any other type of presentation. Undeterred, Theatre Arts Director Erica Smith and her cast of thespians and creators wrote and filmed an original full length musical about forgotten voices in Marin County history, which premiered on Oct 1, 2021.

From the lavish parties of the San Rafael elite to the tiny fishing village of China Camp and the wretched barracks of the Angel Island Immigration Station, four families struggle to make a life rich in meaning against a backdrop of enormous cultural change.
