In Jordan Bruner's beautifully animated interpretation of Aracelis Girmay's poem For Estefani, Third Grade, Who Made Me A Card, a poet receives a card with a cryptic message from a third grader. What she uncovers is a perfect little moment of beauty. 

Join us following the screening for an insightful and educational Q&A with director and animator Jordan Bruner to learn about the making of the film and how artists can add imagery to lyrical poetry. Jordan will also be leading a interactive creativity lesson with live drawing that attendees can follow along with at home.
