Sunday, October 2, 1 to 4 pm, Community Stage at the East Meadow

Enjoy family-friendly fun for all ages at First Sunday Afternoons at Presidio Tunnel Tops. The event on Sunday, October 2, 1 to 4 pm features Presidio Pop Up food vendors, public art from Favianna Rodriguez, live performances, and the chance to dance and drum to the beats.

The schedule of performances at the Community Stage at East Meadow include:

1 pm – Welcome

1:15 pm – WAVE WISE
Local Surf-Rock Duo

1:45 pm – CHEZA NAMI DANCE ENSEMBLE
Interactive Dance and Drum Performance

2:15 pm – DJ MARK MAIDEN
Hip Hop + Rare Groove + Funky Soul Crate Digger

2:45 pm – DEUCE ECLIPSE
US Hip Hop + Nicaraguan-influenced Emcee and Rapper

3:15 pm – CHEZA NAMI DANCE ENSEMBLE
Interactive Dance and Drum Performance

4 pm – PARK RANGER CAMPFIRE TALK

The series is co-curated with the Presidio Activator Council and Community Experts, Hip Hop for Change, and World Arts West.

First Sunday afternoons will be held on October 2 and November 6.
