Fillmore Jazz Festival

  • Fillmore Street San Francisco, CA United States (map)

The 2018 Fillmore Jazz Festival returns to the historic Fillmore District celebrating the culture of jazz that flourished during the 1990s.  This year’s theme of ’90s Throwback pays tribute to the success of San Francisco music scene during that time and will feature musicians and bands playing everything from jazz and hip-hop to Latin and funk. Popular Bay Area bands reuniting for the weekend festival include: The Mo'Fessionals, Alphabet Soup, Jungle Biskit, Dogslyde, Marshall Arts, plus Lavay Smith, the Broun Felinis and many more. Kim Nalley will once again headline Saturday's festivities on the California Street Stage. The always-popular Fillmore Jazz Festival brings Bay Area and national jazz favorites together to play two days of free music, great vibes and good fun.

The Fillmore Jazz Festival was founded in 1986 and is the largest FREE jazz festival on the West Coast. During the two-day fete, visitors can groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, peruse 12 blocks of arts and crafts and indulge in tasty food and beverages. Asian to Cajun cuisine, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the Fillmore Jazz Festival has it all. More musical acts will be announced soon and can be found at FillmoreJazzFestival.com.
