Attention all dads! Whether you’ve got babies in backpacks or you’re constantly herding energetic young explorers, we’ve got a great hike for you this Father’s Day.
Join naturalist Harold Hirsh on a moderate, 3-mile loop through oak woodlands and other ecosystems in China Camp. Harold will keep kids (and you) engaged and interested as he points out cool finds along the way, like pyramid-shape wood rat nests, summer flowers, and birds, bugs, and butterflies. All ages will come away with a better understanding of this remarkable parkland and its inhabitants.
Truth is, you don’t have to be a dad to take part in this sure-to-be lively hike, so sign up now and join in the fun. Be sure to bring snacks and plenty of water for you and your rascals.
