The CJM invites you and your family to a fun-filled community day celebrating student bookmakers! See student-made books from the twelfth annual Ezra Jack Keats Bookmaking Project, make your own book art at our pop-up studio, drop by the San Francisco Public Library Bookmobile, and read with dogs from the San Francisco SPCA’s Puppy Dog Tales Reading Program. This program will also include readings from participating students and classes.

Plus, view brilliant neon art and learn about light in Jewish culture at our current exhibitions First Light: Rituals of Glass and Neon Art and Radiant Practices: Illuminating Jewish Traditions, and give back by donating new or gently used books to the Children’s Book Project.
