Earth Day at Stinson Beach

  • Stinson Beach Federal Park Stinson Beach, CA, 94970 United States (map)

The creation of Earth Day on April 22, 1970 marked what many consider to be the birth of the environmental movement. Today it is regarded as the largest civic event in the world. Marin residents have embraced it since the first Earth Day celebrations began. Join Marin County Parks, One Tam, and GGNRA volunteers to remove litter from Stinson Beach and Upton Beach. Let's keep up the good work, Marin!

All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Please bring gloves if you have them. Snacks, lunch and extra water will be provided.
