Two Sessions Available: Session 1: 10-10:45 a.m.  Session 2: 11:15 a.m. -12 p.m.

At Local Artist Spotlight, children explore a specific artistic technique through a project inspired by a Bay Area artist. This month, for an interactive workshop where children will practice a unique ceramic technique of Sgraffito with local artist Maivy Nguyen.

This event is for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. Siblings are welcome.

This event is free for Bay Area Discovery Museum members and included in the regular price of admission. Admission to the museum can be purchased at the door or online. 

Registration is required to attend Local Artist Spotlight. If there are cancellations or no-shows, we will allow non-registrants to sign up in person, 5 minutes before the start time.
