CodeJoy Presents Robot Romeo!

Join Kelsey Derringer to learn to code and make robots!

World-famous director, Sir Basil Boxington, is frustrated with his robotic actors. They are forgetting their lines, missing their cues, and they are not bringing any feeling to one of the most dramatic scenes in all of Shakespeare’s plays: The sword fight between Mercutio, Tybalt, and Romeo. Sir Boxington needs some programmers to debug this show before opening night. Join the CodeJoy classroom to learn the basics of coding and explore the genius of William Shakespeare.

No special hardware is needed for you to interact with our in-studio robots. We’ll be coding movements, learning basic CS principles, and exploring robotics.

MATERIALS:

  • Laptop or Chromebook to program on, preferably separate from your Zoom viewing device. (EX: Watch Zoom on a phone, code on a Chromebook.)
