Animal Day!

Join us at this celebration of animals at the UC Botanical with drop-in experiences including FAUNA art exhibit, interactive booths and displays, crafts, tours, live animals to see and touch, and more!

Interactive stations and activities include:
- Interact with amazing animals such as tarantulas and scorpions at SaveNature.Org's animal ambassador table (10:30am - 12:30pm)
- Bring out your inner animal with face or hand painting (11am - 1pm)
- See and touch live animals like snakes and lizards with educators from Things That Creep (1pm - 2pm).
- Explore the fascinating world of bees through hands on activities with local author Melissa Edwards (10am - 1pm)
- See busy honeybees working in their hive with the Mount Diablo Beekeepers Association
- Discover the world of newts and aquatic insects with Garden docents
- Wander the Garden in search of signs of animals with an Animal Bingo Card. Show your completed card when you leave for a little surprise!
