2020 Arts Education Resource Fair

For parents, teachers, administrators, teaching artists, and arts education advocates to meet representatives from over 60 arts provider and support organizations in the Bay Area.

Featuring:

  • Welcome and land acknowledgment by Kanyon “CoyoteWoman” Sayers-Roods

  • Presentation of the first ArtCare Arts Learning Achievement Award celebrating an exception arts education project in San Francisco.

  • Maker stations where you can decorate your new canvas tote bag.

  • A professional development workshop for all educators Integrating Arts in Restorative Practices workshop (register separately).

  • Just added: Author Christina Newhard of the Hinabi Project will read from her book,“Amina and the City of Flowers,” about the weaving communities of the Southern Philippines and will discuss curriculum connections with educators (5pm in the Fischer Room).

  • Catering to be provided by Galileo High School’s StartUp Entrepreneurship Academy.

  • Performance by the Thurgood Marshall High School Band
