Join us for the City of Berkeley's annual free Harvest Festival, a chance to honor the Fall season with live music and kids' activities.
This event promises to be an exciting day for the whole family. There will be live music, a seed swap, food contests, and booths where you can meet City employees from various departments, including 311, Public Works, Aging Services, Mental Health, Police, Fire, Library, and the Rent Board. Don't miss the Ride Electric event at the Cedar Rose basketball courts where you can check out electric cars and test ride electric bikes and scooters. You can also learn about discounts, rebates, and more from local electric vehicle owners and eBike riders.
The "Kids Zone" will have plenty of activities for children, including a zipline, giant inflatables, scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and carnival games with prizes. Toddlers can enjoy the "Tot's Zone" with a small jumper, arts and crafts, sandbox, face painting, and more.
Register for the Food Contest if you are a foodie and enter your best-baked goods, preserves, pickled vegetables, pie, and "Sugar-Free" foods. The Food Contest is free and will be open from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, with judging at 12 pm.
Bring your blanket and lawn chair and enjoy live music by Andre Thierry, Keep on Truckin, and United We Fam, with a DJ between sets.
Public transit is available via AC Transit #52, and Cedar Rose Park is within walking distance from North Berkeley BART. If you prefer to ride your bike, there's free bike valet available. In addition, there will be a variety of food trucks and food vendors to choose from, including Southern Cuisine, Lobster Cuisine, BBQ, Dessert, and more. Join us for a day of fun and make some wonderful memories with your family and friends!
