We’ll go exploring for the entirety of this class, applying the skills introduced in Part I (on January 13th or 27th), in search of examples of the wide variety of fungi that occurs at Hidden Villa during the rainy season. Slime molds are not true fungi, but we’ll include them anyway, just for fun. We’ll search for examples of “mycelial networks” in action, “purple fuzz,” fungi eating other fungi, organisms that live on or in fungi, and more. It is recommended, although not required, to attend the “fungi-mentals” class on January 13th or 27th to get the most out of this class.
