A week-long focused community science effort in celebration of the mushrooms of the Santa Cruz Mountains! We've missed two years of the world-famous Santa Cruz Fungus Fair, but this year we are going to replace with a more nimble model. There is of course, no replacement for time spent in the field, engaging our sense and being in community with each other. But! The iNaturalist platform allows an online representation of what we see, touch, taste, and experience in the woods of our home county – allowing us to share and document our understanding of biodiversity much more richly than we ever could before.
