In honor of Mother’s Day this month, May’s Junior Ranger program will focus on some of the hardest workers among China Camp’s wildland creatures: wildlife moms! Your little ones will learn about the maternal caretaking habits of creatures like dusky-footed woodrats, raccoons, and woodpeckers. These woodland moms demonstrate resilience and devotion as they busily craft nests and dens, and gather and store food to increase the chances of survival for their offspring.
Dress your pint-size naturalists in layers for changeable weather, and bring snacks, a filled water bottle, a smile, and a spirit of adventure.
Space is limited; registration is required. Cancellations notified via email.
