Can’t Make It On September 23rd?
Want to get involved but aren’t available that weekend? Then take the opportunity all month long to Protect Your Happy Place!
Grab your family or housemates and clean up your street, park, local creek or shoreline, or anywhere else that makes up your happy place! Whether we gather in organized groups, or cleanup our own neighborhoods, let’s make this year a big Coastal Cleanup success!
You can clean up any day, any time. You can report your cleanup(s) by recording data on the CleanSwell mobile app. If you can’t use the app, download and print a data card in English or Spanish, then mail your completed card to the address on the card.
Things to Remember…
Prepare for the day with a reusable bucket, work gloves, litter grabbers, reusable water bottle and sturdy shoes.
If possible, print out the Waiver Form and bring it with you to the cleanup site of your choice.
Practice social distancing and try not to form large groups.
Remember many small efforts make a big difference.
Record the litter you collect and share it on the Clean Swell app.
