Join us to experience the wonder of the Berkeley Waterfront and the magic of the winter season all in an outdoor setting. The City of Berkeley's free Winter on the Waterfront and Lighted Boat Parade features fun for everyone. The event will be held on Saturday, December 14th, from 2:00pm - 6:30pm at the Berkeley Yacht Club, 1 Seawall Drive. Bring your friends and the whole family, and bundle up! 

There will be plenty of children's activities, including face painting, and carnival games with prizes.  A tot play area will keep the little ones entertained. Sip hot chocolate, decorate cookies, and a chance play in Real Snow with the Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop. Santa will be on-hand to visit, read stories, and create photo ops galore. All this while listening to holiday music and enjoying some of the best views around the Bay.

After the sun sets, join us for the Berkeley Marina's third annual Lighted Boat Parade, where boats dressed in holiday lights will sail, motor, or paddle in a loop just outside the harbor.  Great viewing of the boat parade and small fireworks display is available along Seawall Drive. Bring clothes to keep you warm and dry so you can enjoy snow play and the Lighted Boat Parade. This event promises to be a lively and festive way to spend a winter day.
