Sunnyvale Holiday Lights Ride

  • De Anza Park 1150 Lime Drive Sunnyvale, CA, 94087 United States (map)

It's the holiday season! Let's check out some Sunnyvale neighborhood holiday lights on easy-to-ride neighborhood streets!

Get ready to pedal your way into the holiday spirit with SVBC and Bike Sunnyvale's Annual Holiday Lights Bike Ride! Join us for a memorable evening that'll have you feeling the joy of the season while exploring the twinkling holiday lights.

๐Ÿšด Ride Details:

๐Ÿ“… Saturday, December 21st. Meet at 6:30 PM and roll out at 7:00 PM

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Location: We'll kick things off at De Anza Park in Sunnyvale in the shared parking lot behind Stratford school. This festive journey will cover a scenic sub-10-mile loop.

๐Ÿšฒ How We Ride: We will navigate the streets as a slow rolling musical bicycle bus (we will all stay grouped together) and will occasionally stop for pictures. Please decorate your bicycles with lots and lots of holiday lights and wear bright as well as warm clothing.

๐Ÿ™‹ Ride Support: Some ride volunteers are needed to help manage the bicycle bus - any somewhat experienced rider with a cell phone who can show up 15 minutes early should qualify. If you'd like to help, please reserve yourself a Volunteer Ride Support ticket! The route will be planned and lead by a very experienced senior ride leader :-)

๐ŸŒŸ Experience the Magic: Immerse yourself in the enchanting holiday lights as we explore Sunnyvale. You'll be amazed by the stunning displays that light up the night.

๐ŸŽ„ Spread the Cheer: This is not just a bike ride; it's a chance to spread joy, positivity, and the holiday spirit throughout the community.

Mark your calendars, invite your friends and family, and let's pedal together into the holiday season! Don't miss out on this unforgettable journey through the holiday lights. Get your bikes and warm cloths ready, and we'll see you at De Anza Park. Remember, the more, the merrier, so spread the word and share the joy! This year the ride is limited to 200 people! So if you sign up, show up or cancel your reservation so others can participate (last year we had almost 250 people on the ride!).

We look forward to riding with you and enjoying some holiday cheer!
