Montclair Village Holiday Stroll on Thursday, December 7, from 4–8pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to create lasting memories with loved ones while lighting up the Village with festive cheer and shopping for unique holiday gifts that will spread joy!
“Our Holiday Stroll is designed to bring people together, to support the mom and pop, and community connected businesses, the community groups, artists, and Oakland schools.” Executive Director Daniel Swafford said. “It reminds us how important the people in our lives are and what community means.”
This year’s highlights will include:
- Live performances by local youth and school groups including Colla Voce (Head Royce’ choral ensemble), Edna Brewer Jazz Band, GleeBA (Temple Beth Abraham's children's choir), Jazz Education Ensemble, Montera Middle School Band, Pacific Boychoir Academy, Piedmont Troubadours, Skyline High Jazz Band, Skyline High Orchestra and more.
- Festive entertainment by Merry Minstrels, Oakland Ballet Company and The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees.
- Professional Winter Wonderland photos with Santa taken by Leah Marie Studio.
- “Random Acts Toy Drive” and Parade Rig hosted by the Oakland Fire Department.
- Disc jump and Connect 4 game play hosted by Oakland Spiders.
- Crafting activities hosted by Montclair Presbyterian Church and Saint John’s Episcopal Church.
- Montclair Library Booth with selfie photo props, a spinning wheel to win prizes and giveaways.
- Variety of discount promotions, giveaways and goodies offered by over 40 Montclair Village businesses.
- Additional retail holiday shopping offered by 20 locally-owned and operated vendors.
