LOCATION:

Using a hatchery truck with a viewing window, students from the United Anglers of Casa Grande High School program will transport over 1,000 fish to Tiburon where local children will handle the final stage of the release. With buckets in hands, children will carry the salmon fingerlings, which are between 3 to 4 inches long, to the shore and release them into an outgoing tide.
Organized by the Tiburon Salmon Institute, the annual salmon release aims to raise salmon awareness and promote environmental stewardship among Bay Area children. For more information, visit www.tiburonsalmoninstitute.com.
