The nerve of those Whos. Inviting you down and on such short notice. Oh, the Who-manity. Only a few tickets left for a private showing of the holiday classic film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” featuring Jim Carrey at the Lark Theatre on Sunday, December 3th along with a visit from…um, Santa…..why, why are you taking our tree?
The film will be followed by a delicious holiday reception at Left Bank complete with drinks, hors d'oerves, hot chocolate, sweets and activities. So much goodness you’ll get all toasty inside and start leaking. And don’t forget the amazing silent auction, cause as the Ginch says, "One man's toxic sludge is another man's potpourri.”
This incredible event has been created in part by local family Bruce, Allyn and George Campbell, the event is a fundraiser for Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium Foundation. When Bruce and Allyn’s son George was diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor, they learned there was no known cure. Because of a lack of funding for research, little progress has been made in improving pediatric brain cancer survival rates for the most deadly tumors and the public remains unaware of the magnitude of this disease.
Today, George is doing extremely well and hoping to raise funds to help other kids he met during his treatment. Support George and his family in this 3rd annual fundraising event for children diagnosed with this life-threatening medical condition by purchasing your tickets online. ONLY a few tickets left for this highly anticipated event.
If you’re unable to attend, you can sponsor a pediatric patient and their family to attend the event. You can also make a direct donation at www.pnocfoundation.org.
Let’s remember the Grinch as the holidays near, and…. WE TOO CAN GROW OUR HEARTS 3X THIS YEAR! Discover the difference you can make in the lives of others!
Please help make the evening a success and provide much needed support by considering a Sponsorship at one of the giving levels:

*In the year 2014, there were approximately 23,000 children living with a central nervous system tumor in the US. An estimated 4,000 more children will be diagnosed with a brain tumor this year.
During 1999-2014, brain cancer replaced leukemia as the most common cancer causing death among children and adolescents aged 1-19 years, accounting for 3 out of 10 cancer deaths in 2014.
