Pixie Park Nature Fair is May 7
Please join us on Sunday, May 7th, from 10 AM to 1 PM for the Pixie Park Nature Fair. The fair will be held in honor of Pixie Park's founder, Mrs. Elizabeth Terwilliger, who was a pioneer in environmental education. The event will be held within Pixie Park.
Activities will include:
- WildCare’s Nature Van
- Face Painting
- Nature based craft
- Storytime with Clare, Diesel Bookstore
- Tomato Planting
- Musical performance with Little Bears, Blue Bear School of Music
- Nature scavenger hunt
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Admission is $12 per family, and can be purchased at the door the day of the event. Parking is free, but capacity for both parking and the fair will be limited.
A beloved Marin institution for over 60 years, Pixie Park is a volunteer-run cooperative playground for children ages 6 and under. Pixie Park is located on the beautiful grounds of the Marin Art & Garden Center in Ross. The park’s supportive atmosphere and beautiful setting make it a safe and enjoyable place for children to explore and play, and the many social events and volunteer opportunities encourage new friendships.
