3D Computer Animation - Introduction

The Human Body

This small-group workshop offers an overview of the body and the function of its organs. We will look at how humans have evolved compared to other animals, what happens when cells do not work properly, and the mechanisms of how medicines work in our body. No prior knowledge of anatomy is required.


Oceanography Discovery Sailing Voyage with the Marine Science Institute

Join the Marine Science Institute for a four-hour expedition of the San Francisco Bay aboard the 90-foot research vessel, the R.V. Robert G. Brownlee and discover the life in the estuary and how we are connected to it. Students rotate through 3 or 4 stations using scientific methods and equipment to examine different types of life.


Competitive Mathematics Class

Students will be introduced to problem solving for mathematics competitions such as Math Kangaroo 1-2. The focus of the class is to form study and reasoning skills that provide a long-term benefit for math learners. This is the first semester of a 4 semester course.
