Marin Waldorf School May Faire
Marin Waldorf School May Faire is Saturday, May 4th
Mark your calendars for the upcoming May Faire next Saturday, May 4th from 10:30 -2 pm. It is one of the most beautiful festivals at the Marin Waldorf School and all are welcome to attend.
The earliest May Day Celebrations were to honor the changing of the seasons, from darkness into light, and that a tree, the symbol of the "tree of life" and of the great strength and vitality of Nature, was used in the ritual. The May Faire is a joyful, colorful festival of spring. The celebration comes with the promise of rebirth - the renewed life of the soul.
After the May Pole dances we have delicious organic food for purchase or bring your own. There is also a popsicle run, strawberry shortcake for dessert and a family contra dance. Please bring a blanket to sit on, sit back and enjoy the day. See you there!
They will have a table for you to make your own May Faire flower crowns...join us!
