FIRST OF THE MUTT
Welcome once again to the once-a-month animal adoption segment, "First of the Mutt." Ronnie's Awesome List is proud to partner with various rescue organizations around the Bay Area to feature adorable, adoptable, family-friendly animals find their forever home and help your family find a new best friend and fall madly in love.
This handsome 5-year-old boy is Ramon! He loves making new friends; his stubby tail and wiggly butt are always on the move! He does great on walks and is a dynamo when it comes to chasing balls. On the flipside, Ramon has a nice calm and snuggly side where he wants to be as close to you as possible. This sweetie is waiting to meet you so come by and feel his love today!
Meet Bob! He's a big, 6-year-old, brown and white tabby. Right now, he's pretty shy and wants a slow approach to win him over. He needs someone who will let him blossom at his own pace, great things can't be rushed! He loves to receive pets and has a soft, rumbling purr as a thank you. He can get overwhelmed so he needs indoor housing with adults only and possible older children. Come give this guy a second chance at a happy life!
Hi, I'm Thaddeus!
My name suites me well, because in this little body is a big and courageous heart, waiting to spoil you with love! I am a fun and animated boy that is up for just about any adventure! I will need a lot of mental and physical enrichment, so a puppy training class might be a fun outlet while we get to know eachother (adopter's get 30% off)! Since I am still so young I won’t be able to be left alone for more than a few hours, so please have a plan in place before you bringing me home!
Hi, I'm Amos Moses!
I am a cutie-pa-tootie that will love you from Berkeley to the Bayou! I can't get enough playtime, so I hope you like fun and games! When I get all tuckered out, I will happily snuggle in your lap while you watch your favorite shows. Since I am still so young I won’t be able to be left alone for more than a few hours, so please have a plan in place before you bringing me home!
Jerry is a wonderfully agreeable, plus-sized senior kitty who has a soft, sweet, gentle nature. He's just the sort of fellow who will curl up in your lap and purr mightily. Jerry will need to be brushed regularly to keep his thick coat mat-free. We think we would do well with polite older children who will treat him with respect and encourage him to play with wand toys to help him slim down. Looking for a gentle, loving companion to share your home and heart? We think Jerry will fit the bill to "purr-fection"!
Bobette and Sarah were brought to Marin Humane when a teacher no longer wanted them as classroom pets. These two lovely guinea pigs are bonded friends and must be adopted together. They are easy to pick up and will settle down nicely in laps for some petting. Guinea pigs need to be held properly to avoid injury to their backs, so parents should always supervise when children are interacting with them. We think these two would make wonderful companions for any family.
Oh my goodness - what a sweet, sweet girl Bailey is! Bailey is an 8-year-old Lab mix who loves to cuddle. She’s gentle, very friendly, and gets along well with adults, children, and other pups. She came from a shelter in the central valley and she’s getting plenty of love at Lily’s Legacy, but she’s ready to find her furever home. She received a clean bill of health from the vet, is housebroken, microchipped, and always happy to go for a walk…or cuddle on the couch.
If you’re looking for a girl who will fit right into your family, bringing lots and lots of love with her, then Bailey is your girl. Just don’t leave and breakable knickknacks on your coffee table. Her ever wagging tail might just clear it off!
Myra is truly a diamond in the rough. She is an 8 yr. old Lab with heart and soul of a 2 yr. old. Myra is great with her 4-legged companions at Lily’s. She is housebroken and healthy.
Myra would be a great hiking or walking companion. She also enjoys playing fetch and will even bring the ball back.
What we’ve discovered about Myra is that her favorite pastime is rolling over to get her belly rubbed. Myra has a real zest for life. She’s a wonderful gal and would love to have a family of her own.
