One Baseball Team Rules In San Francisco

GIANTS FANFEST: Join the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park on February 11 for a live KNBR broadcasts on the field, player Q&As, viewing of the World Series trophies, free player autographs, places to take photos, a kids zone and more. Expect a chance to roam the field and meet players like Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey, and more. Please note that the lines to meet the popular players can be extremely long, so come prepared to be patient.

Three Ways To Celebrate The Year Of The Rooster

SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONYFebruary 4 celebrate the Year of the Rooster at this family event that draws on both ancient and contemporary Asian traditions. Enjoy Asian instruments, “lucky” red envelopes, lion dancing, the concert and exciting Imperial Dinner. 

SAN FRANCISCO CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADEThe parade winds its way through Chinatown on February 11. Enjoy gorgeous floats, elaborate costumes, ferocious lions, exploding firecrackers, and the crowd favorite, a spectacular 268' Golden Dragon ("Gum Lung”).

BAY AREA DISCOVERY MUSEUM: On February 20 celebrate the Chinese New Year complete with lion dance performances, delicious Chinese food, observe professional calligraphers, and more.

Four Must See Live Entertainment

MARIN THEATRE COMPANY: 'Hare and Tortoise' is a fun, fast (and slow) show for 4 to 8 year olds about friendship, the passing of time and the excitement of growing up. February 25-March 5.

BAY AREA CHILDREN'S THEATRE: 'Pippi Longstocking', the new neighbor has crazy red pigtails, a pet monkey named Mr. Nilsson, and a tendency to get caught up in one outrageous adventure after another! Pippi wins over even the sternest of hearts in this rollicking musical adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's beloved book. Runs Jan-March. Also out now for kids 6mo-4 years is 'The Wheels on the Bus' and 'Splish Splash.'

CHILDREN'S THEATER ASSOCIATION OF SAN FRANCISCOAladdin And His Wonderful, Magical Lamp this year. We will be performing at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre on February 25th.

MILL VALLEY LiVE: February 26 star Bob Kann brings his infectious enthusiasm and hilarious comedy to The Mill Valley Community Center for one-show only.

Five Wild Outdoor Adventures

MARIN PARKS & OPEN SPACE: Nature for Kids: Deer Island on February 20, 10am-1pm, Rising above the surrounding marshland and pastures, the mix of forest and grassland on this little ridge make it a great place to see a variety of cold season critters.
