Nature for Kids: Bahia, 10am – 1pm, this open oak woodland at the edge of the San Pablo Bay wetlands is a fabulous spring destination. Wildflowers dot the lush grassland, the fresh leaves of the trees are alive with birds, and there are always butterflies patrolling the road that runs along the ridge. We’ll head to a nice clearing at the top where the kids can explore, while we let the birds and butterflies come to us. Remember to bring lunch. 🌎 Earth Day at Corte Madera Creek, 11am-12:30pm, take a short hike along the creek looking for the elusive Ridgeway Clapper Rail, which has been spotted around the marsh. Bring binoculars (or borrow ours) to look at the aquatic birds, such as Black-necked Stilts, American Avocets, Great Egrets, and Buffleheads. If we are lucky, we may even spot a River Otter. We will end the day at the Hal Brown playground for lunch and a little play time for the children.

Wanderlust 108, 7:30a,-3:30pm, a “mindful triathlon”: a 5K* run (or walk), an outdoor yoga experience, and a guided meditation – but with a twist, Strollers are welcome as well, we just ask that you are mindful of others walking and running on the 5K course, Kids can also participate.
