Big Time Festival, 10am-4pm, learn more about the culture and traditions of the Miwok, demonstrators will exhibit their skills in basketry, flint knapping, clamshell bead making, and more, Kule Loklo, Point Reyes. 

Flower Piano, 10-11am, The Rabbit Hole Theater Company in the Garden, presenting a magical scavenger hunt as families use their eyes and ears to discover hidden, costumed performers in the gardens adjacent to the Friend (North) Gate. A greeter will launch the activity starting at the Friend Gate, giving families a clue card, San Francisco Botanical Gardens.

Summer Fun Weeks, 10am-5pm, Blast Off, runs thru July 22, Get an astronaut’s-eye-view of the universe with Science On a Sphere®, explore the history of space travel in a National Geographic 3D film, and engage in astronomical conversations with interactive shows in the Planetarium, Lawrence Hall of Science, Berkeley.

Drop-In Science, 10:30am, ages 3-7, hands-on, interactive activities connect young scientists to these concepts while allowing them to take home the results of their work, Bee Buzzers, Randall Museum.

Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site the Musical, 10:30am & 2pm, Children's Fairyland, Oakland.

Story Craft, 11am-12pm, ages 2-8, Story, art and songs for families of all abilities! For children of all abilities ages 2-8 with caregivers. Novato Library.

Creative Family Fun, 11am-4pm, Presidio Officer's Club, San Francisco.

SF Anime & Cosplay Festival, 11am-4pm, Get your wigs and costume on, find your Senpai and notice your Kohai while exploring great shops and restaurants in East and West Japantown Malls. Not sure what to do? Stop by Senpai booth to get Cosplay 101 from local cosplayers, Japantown, San Francisco.

Kids Kokoro, 12-1pm, ages 7-13, George "Rocky" Graham Park, 630 Drake Avenue, Marin City.

Nā Lei Hulu I Ka Wēkiu - The Ola Project, 12:30pm, Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco.

Afternoon Art, 1-4pm, ages 3-8, create all kinds of arts and craft projects, Wooden Pendants, Randall Museum.

Ratatouille in Concert, 2pm, San Francisco Symphony.

Mill Valley Campout, ages 3+, includes fun activities, special entertainer, campfire with s’mores, dinner, breakfast, camping space and more. Advanced registration is required and highly recommended as last year’s event was a sell out. Camping Fees: $25 per person, children 3 and under free. Mill Valley Community Center Field.

Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site the Musical, 10:30am & 4pm, Children's Fairyland, Oakland.

Beads, Baubles, and Found Treasures, 11am – 3pm, ages 10+, try something so old that it’s new again! Bring your creativity and a “found treasure” (sea shell, souvenir stone, bead, etc.) and join us at Paradise Beach Park, where rangers will provide instruction in the ancient Viking skill of Nalbinding, a technique similar to knitting or crocheting.
