Maker Mornings, 9am – 12pm, 6th-12th graders, Work on a variety of hands on projects including making a finger piano and open crafting, Novato Library.

SHARE-A-Book Dogs, 2:30-3:30pm, Kids in kindergarten and older can make 15-minute appointments to read aloud to friendly four-legged friends. It’s a great way to increase confidence and improve read-aloud skills in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, Mill Valley Public Library.
Teen Gaming, 3:30 – 5:30pm, grades 6-12, Join us for board games, card games, computer games, puzzles, a Break Out box (escape room in a box), and more! Bring your friends, try our brand new games, and eat snacks, Civic Center Library.
Life-Sized Clue, 5 – 8pm, grades 6-12, The wealthy Mr. Boddy has been MURDERED!! Your help is needed to determine WHO murdered him, WHERE in his stately mansion (which strangely resembles the Corte Madera Library) he was done in, and with WHICH ghastly weapon. Dinner will be served, Corte Madera Library.

Family-friendly theater activity will focus on pianos and locations nearest Friend (North) Gate, Bean Sprouts Family Day Mini-pianos and music-making materials in the Children’s Garden.
Making Day, 9am-5pm, a celebration of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit! Live music by Asheba, meet Daniel Tiger, Fab Lab, Stuffed Animal Lab, Woodworking and more, Bay Area Discovery Museum.
Big Time Festival, 10am-4pm, learn more about the culture and traditions of the Miwok, demonstrators will exhibit their skills in basketry, flint knapping, clamshell bead making, and more, Kule Loklo, Point Reyes.
Rita LeRoy - Sustainable Gardening for Kids, 10am-12pm, ages 8-12, Topics for this class include include building healthy soil with the help of earthworms, composting, when to plant vegetables, why to plant flowers, and the importance of pollinators. Children will create a miniature worm box and plant seasonal vegetables and flowers in containers to take home. The instructor will have live specimens of a variety of critters for the children to enjoy seeing and learning about, Book Passage, Corte Madera.
Bug Eaters: All About Carniverous Plants, 10-11am, Family members of all age are invited to discover some of the fascinating and beautiful plants that can eat insects. Get up close with the amazing leaf adaptations as you learn more about them, UC Botanical Gardens, Berkeley.

Superhero Saturday, 11am, Calling for all Wonder Girls and Boys! The San Francisco Shared Schoolyard Project and Supervisor Mark Farrell are thrilled to partner with AcroSports for an incredible event at Alvarado Elementary School! Come dressed as your favorite Superhero and show off your super powers by tumbling through a parkour obstacle course, participating in a costume contest, and more! And of course, all of our heroes and heroines will be rewarded with a delicious free lunch.
