Discover Deer Island, 10am-1pm, A true wildlife refuge, where the hills meet the bay, this a great location for Red-shoulder hawk and White-tailed kite to nest, as well as Barn owls and Great-horned owls. There is also a variety of butterflies, some of which is dependent on the surrounding marsh habitat. It is also home to Alligator lizards and Gopher snakes, Wildcare Family Adenture.

You’ll find out all sorts of way you can become an ocean activist, helping protect our bay and ocean waters, Bay Model, Sausalito.

Dissect Salmon! 10am & 1pm, ages 4-10,  a hands-on exploration of one of California’s most famous fish! Learn about the unique life cycle of salmonids and create your own fish prints using a real Chinook salmon.
