Happy New Year. The holiday festivities are winding down and this is the last weekend for some Ice Skating Rinks. There’s still so much fun out there so get so put your best foot forward and let’s venture into 2019 together.

Wonderland: Alice's Rock And Roll Adventure

Grab your flamingo and tumble into Wonderland with Alice to meet all of Lewis Carroll’s irresistible characters in this lively rock and roll re-imagining of his beloved tales.

’Tis The Season For Science

LAST WEEK: Experience a winter wonderland in the heart of San Francisco. Outdoor snow flurries, a hands-on polar-themed exhibit, and festive ice rink make the Academy a holiday destination for science lovers of all ages.

A penguin who cannot sing is born into the world of the Emperor Penguins, who find their soul mates through song. But he can tap dance something fierce! Popcorn and drinks will be served courtesy of the Friends of the Marin City Library.

Lantern Art Festival is a huge light show, Bigger, Better, more beautiful than your traditional light show. Lanterns are built on site up to 30 feet tall.

Head out to beautiful Upton Beach and let your creativity run wild! Join ranger staff to build sandcastles and whatever else you can imagine using materials from nature. Sand, seaweed, driftwood, and shells are a few of the materials we can use to create unique masterpieces! Work as a group or solo. The only requirement is having a great time in the beautiful outdoors.

Learn To Ride

Learn to ride pump tracks and rollers with a ranger. This event is ideal for ages 5 and up though riders of all ages are welcome. All skill levels–no experience necessary. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring your bike, helmet, and pads.
