Art Party, 9am-5pm, Experience the joys of art! Meet local artists, view a diverse set of artwork, participate in hands-on arts programming, and see famed artist Patrick Dougherty’s new large-scale willow sculpture in Lookout Cove, Bay Area Discovery Museum, Sausalito.

Los Vaqueros, 10am, the story of the first American cowboys is told by Ranger Al Blank on an easy stroll through Ft. Baker. Remember the days of wanting to be a cowboy and throw a lariat? Find out the real story! Reservations required; please call (415) 331-1540. 

Living History Day, 10am-5pm, free, experience first-hand the momentous era of the American Civil War from live re-enactors, through infantry and artillery demonstrations, medicine in the 1800's, music, Victorian dance, and exhibits displaying the lives of men, women, and children of days past, Fort Point, San Francisco.

Beads, Baubles, and Found Treasures, 11am – 3pm, bring your creativity and a “found treasure” (sea shell, souvenir stone, bead, etc.) and learn the ancient Viking skill of Nalbinding, a technique similar to knitting or crocheting. You’ll be able to use your found treasure in creating a pendant that you’ll be proud to wear! Paradise Beach Park, Tiburon.
