Come celebrate the divine gift of unconditional love with our beloved animal companions. Join us for a Blessing of the Animals service at First Congregational Church of Alameda on Sunday, September 15 at 10:30am.

In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we put our paws, fins, and feathers together as we gather in our church courtyard for the blessing. Well-behaved pets, big and small, are invited to attend on leashes, in carriers and cages. Bring a photo of pets who have passed to be added to our Rainbow Bridge. Treats and water will be provided.

We welcome special guest speaker Amanda McNair, Animal Care Director at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS). A special offering will be collected with all proceeds going to FAAS.

The wheelchair-accessible courtyard is located on Central Ave. between Chestnut and Lafayette streets. Look for the welcome table!
