Mt. Tam runners! If you would like to meet fellow runners and give back to the mountain, join us for a broom-pulling workday along Old Mine Trail, off Pantoll parking lot. We will walk approximately half a mile along the trail to hand pull young plants as part of a long term follow-up effort to improve habitat for native plants and animals.
Please bring footwear appropriate for variable terrain, long pants or clothing for changing weather conditions, sun protection, and a water bottle. All tools, snacks and water will be provided. We will meet at 9am and will work until noon. Volunteers are encouraged to show up at 9am for the orientation, but you are welcome to stay for all or just a part of the morning.
