In this workshop, you and your child will make close observations of small creatures that live in the garden and under rocks, such as snails, worms, and pill bugs.

You will construct a terrarium, adding items to make it a place that can temporarily house visiting animals you find outside. These activities are designed to deepen your child’s connection to nature and develop their appreciation of living things.

For young children ages 3–5 with at least one participating adult.
